My Approach to The Rolf Method of Structural Integration
I live a life of complete passion, and I am devoted to helping my clients live their lives to the fullest extent of their desires, without interference of pain and restriction in ordinary movements. My intention in this work begins with the aspiration to create "better human beings", not to chase symptoms around unbalanced bodies. Although most often, issues with pain is the reason most people seek out my service and I will do my best to facilitate an immediate relief of those pain symptoms, ultimately I am holding the long term vision of how well balanced and organized this "new being" can essentially express itself. I believe The Rolf Method of SI is in a higher class than other forms of manual therapies. As more layers of dysfunction are peeled back and order is put back in to the structure, the more people can become comfortable and have a greater sense of well-being within their own bodies.
In a wider sense , I consider The Rolf Method to be a guided educational journey for the client through his/her own body. Every person is different, therefore I approach every client differently, rather than simply putting them into a particular mold. This is accomplished through my questioning followed by listening via sight, sound and touch.

How I came to The Rolf Method of Structural Integration
In 2001, I acquired a certification from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) for a Personal Trainer (CPT), so that I would be able to help and support a friend in dire need. In that time, my love and enthusiasm for helping others magnified to the level that I would want to continue changing the lives of others. During my first year in this career, I observed the majority of my clients having difficulties performing basic movement patterns which led to a keen interest in biomechanics, particularly in human movement. This inspired me to obtain additional credentials with NASM such as, Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). My client base became mostly comprised of those that held multiple postural deviations and although some of them were aware of these modifications to their own bodies, some were not. Although after 5 years of vast changes in people's bodies using corrective exercises and stretching techniques such as Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), these bodies still seem to be a bit off kilter and I believed there had to be an alternative, more productive way for a structure to become more balanced, to function better.
In 2006 I was then led into the world of manual manipulation, where I became licensed as massage therapist after graduating from the American Institute of Massage Therapy in Pompano Beach Florida (AIMT). While attending classes at A.I.M.T., I was only briefly introduced to the concepts and theories of Structural Integration yet instinctively I understood The Rolf Method would be the ideal approach to help support and create balance in the body. With a long desire to better human function, and a natural gift of touch and vision, I skillfully began developing the artistry needed by the hands that goes into organizing a human structure properly.
In 2012 after meeting John Latz, the founder of The Institute of Structural Integration in Miami Florida, I immediately enrolled into the program. A true disciple of Dr. Ida P. Rolf's work, John Latz has passed down the same teachings to his students that were given to him over 25 years ago. I thank John for his insights and personal philosophies pertaining to human structure. He has guided me to evolve not only into a successful practitioner of The Rolf Method but also in my own structure as well with the bodywork i continuously receive from him.
Since then, and earning my certification as a Structural Integration Practitioner, I as well am devoted to this method of treatment and look to exemplify Dr. Rolf's work and share it with the world, one body at time.
